ok so what i was thinking maybe is they'd have a 60 minute match, regardless of whether or not the snitch is caught. 60 minutes is enough for the captains to get a feel for how people are playing probably? in the future, they can break it up more (e.g. play for 45 minutes, break to decide if people need to be doing things differently, then play another 45 min? something like that?)

then sy and leo can schedule another meeting to just talk over plays and drills and strategy, etc. leo i bet you can invent SO MANY MORE new drills with 7+ people to play against

and so re: rng I figure we can do: a) how much does each team score, b) whether or not the snitch is caught in the hour and by whom, c) maybe also an injury or two? you can decide on whether or not we do c) since you're playing the beater captain

ALSO maaaybe we should push this back to wednesday so casper can participate? since i realized casper's not coming back to school until then :|a let me ask katie

Yesss that sounds perfect. The 45ish minutes ones would be good testing grounds for different plays, too, because they can get a good idea of what they'd actually look like in play.

BECAUSE yes, Leo will invent SO MANY new drills and SO MANY new plays, and probably will give Sy a playbook of personalized Coppertale stuff that he just could not help himself from creating by the end of all this.

I will also always say bring on the injuries. IC WISE THOUGH. Actually, Leo would focus on those, because he thinks that's kind of a weakness of both of their teams; THEY GET INJURED BADLY because they play hard and could both benefit from more evasive maneuvers etc. (It's really because RNG but he doesn't know that.) ANNND oooh yes maybe Weds would be better, depending on what Katie says. He would want Casper in on this if possible.

UGH I KNOW, THEIR CAPTAIN MEETINGS WILL BE SO GREAT. Leo will appreciate someone being as obsessively into this game SO MUCH.

And I was going to handwave Leo skipping Potions. (Even though he's probably never skipped a class in his life/would spontaneously drop dead if he tried.)
